I'm walking!

Yes, indeed. Little Ms. Scarlett has taken her first steps at the ripe old age of 9 months. Can you frickin' believe that?

Scarlett practicing for her learner's permit.

Things seem to be moving a lot faster with her than they did with Anabella. And looking at Halle's little two-week-old baby last Friday, I felt like Scarlett is already grown up. Now if I just didn't look pregnant anymore, I might actually believe that.

Okay, I won't pull out any competitive my-kids-are-more-awesomer-than-your-kids stories but my first two walked at 7 1/2 months and 8 months respectively. By the time I got to my fourth I wised up and stopped encouraging all that independence sh*t. It's much easier to deal with a non-mobile lazy baby that won't tear your stuff up and get into trouble.

LOL...I need a lazy baby. I wasn't pushing her to walk. I remember how the baby gains independence and mommy loses it...along with all her knick-knacks. I think watching her older sister is prompting her to be an overachiever.
