The Reason my second daughter will probably be nameless

Because our naming conversations go something like this:

Me: I found a pretty Irish name that I like.

Him: What is it?

Me: Shaeleigh.

Him: I hate it.

Me: Ok. What do you think of Danica?

Him: I don't.

Me: I see. Well, Halle suggested the name Claire.

Him: If you put an "e" in front of that, she will be a tasty treat.

That answer to "Claire" was fantastic!

Name her Anabella. Multiple children with the same name seemed to work out OK for George Foreman.

My Melody's middle name is Claire.

I like Danica. There's Danica Patrick and remember Winnie from The Wonder Years? She a math genius named Danica.

What about?
Estelle
Stella
Aurora(I Love This Name!)
Noelle
Laurel

Why don't you just name the kid after me? Melissa means honeybee in Greek. Barry Manilow sang a song about a Melissa. So did The Allman Brothers. Isn't that enough to sway you?!!!?

If you name the kid "Melissa" after Elastic, I totally get half of the prize winnings, because I suggested naming your kid "Elastic." It's basically the same thing.

I actually like Claire as a name, but I didn't say it because you initially said you wanted multiple syllables. So if "Claire" or "eClaire" get picked, I'll kick myself.

Omarossa is pretty unique.

Other day I saw someone refer to their second as "Sequel."

Of course they do call the first one "Sproglet"...

I'm sure I've toldyou this before; I feel your pain.

Don't worry. If he is anything like my S.O. he will proudly come up with one of your favorite names on the day she is born as if it was his original idea and you'll act all amazed as if "how ever did you come up with such a great name" and it will all be good.

I remember the hubs and I going through this- thankfully we agreed on Luke's name. Somewhat~

He caved to Luke, and I caved to the stupid middle name the hubs gave him.

As long as you don't name her Superman or 4Real, I think I can accept whatever you pick. news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20070808/od_nm/newzealand_name_odd_dc_1;_ylt=AnvUvflFvSlTYl9xHOrlGKkL1vAI
